Camp Durham is a Title I summer learning experience for At Risk youth which was created based on the ideals and visions of Lewisville ISD's Strategic Design Plan.

Camp consisted of  two four-day sessions. Session I was used for research and first-hand data collection. During this week, students visited Central Park, toured Waste Management Facilities in Lewisville, Texas, and participated in "center" activities at MDMS. Session II provided two days for students to students to work together in collaborative groups creating presentations geared towards enlisting the help on influential community members, a day of presentation, and a day of "solution implementation" at Central Park.  ​
